Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team, responsible for Linux administration and ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of our systems. If you have a solid background in managing Linux environments, troubleshooting, and collaborating across teams, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Patch underlying infrastructure and validate server-level and platform health
  • Validate patches daily and monitor server health to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot issues in real-time and provide timely resolutions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth operations across offshore and onshore units
  • Document processes, update technical reports, and contribute to improving system workflows
  • Administer Java-based application services, supporting SSL and mTLS implementations
  • Develop and execute Bash scripts for automation and optimization
  • Provide expertise in system performance tuning and preventive maintenance

Requirements

  • 6+ years of general IT experience and at least 3+ years of experience in Linux administration
  • Expertise in Linux administration, Bash scripting, and troubleshooting Java-based application services
  • Proficiency in SSL and mTLS, with an understanding of their implementation and management
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams and stakeholders
  • Skills in creating clear documentation and technical reporting
  • Capability to work efficiently in cross-functional environments and collaborate with offshore and onshore teams
  • English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Python for automation and scripting
  • Competency in Ansible for configuration management
  • Showcase of Terraform experience for infrastructure as code
