US Cost Segregation Project Engineer (Remote)

About the Role
  • This role is all about precision, problem-solving, and clear communication. You’ll conduct virtual site reviews, analyze architectural data, and produce engineering reports that guide major tax decisions. Expect independent work, structured processes, and smart collaboration with senior team members and clients.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct virtual site visits and review property layouts.
  • Analyze architectural plans, service dates, cost bases, and asset details.
  • Create Excel-based asset spreadsheets and Word-based engineering reports.
  • Coordinate with clients and sales teams on project updates.
  • Upload documents, manage revisions, and finalize client-ready PDFs.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay aligned.

Requirements

About YOU

  • You’re an independent, analytical thinker with solid engineering fundamentals and strong attention to detail.
  • You’re comfortable with spreadsheets, technical writing, and working remotely.
About YOUR Work History
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate, construction, or property assessments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Confident reading and interpreting architectural/engineering plans.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
