Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to perform on-site and virtual inspections of newly constructed buildings, deliver exceptional customer service, and support energy savings goals.
Requirements
- Associate's, vocational, or bachelor's degree in relevant field (i.e., construction management, engineering, HVAC trades, etc.) or equivalent work experience in the energy efficiency or construction industry.
- Current Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Rater certification, Building Performance Institute Quality Control Inspector certification, or equivalent experience and ability to obtain certification.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull 50 pounds.
- Ability to use small tools and ladders.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and heat pump technology is a plus.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license, insurance, and a personal vehicle to conduct site visits and drop-ins throughout the territory in Utah.
