Overview

We are seeking a Lead SSO Migration Engineer to lead the migration of enterprise Single Sign-On from Okta Workforce Identity to Microsoft Entra ID. You will partner with security and application stakeholders to design, execute, and document a low-disruption transition—apply to help modernize our IAM platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end migration of SSO configurations, applications, and user access from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID
  • Plan and design target-state Entra ID SSO integrations to minimize disruption
  • Assess current Okta SSO integrations and define migration strategies per application
  • Coordinate with application owners, security teams, and stakeholders to align scope, timelines, and cutover plans
  • Configure and validate SAML and OpenID Connect integrations in Entra ID
  • Troubleshoot and resolve authentication, authorization, and provisioning issues during and after cutover
  • Create and maintain migration documentation, runbooks, and operational support materials
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on Entra ID SSO administration

Requirements

  • 5+ years of identity and access management (IAM) experience in enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with Okta Workforce Identity and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including application integration and user lifecycle management
  • Experience implementing Single Sign-On using SAML and OpenID Connect
  • Lead-level experience planning and driving SSO migration activities across multiple applications
  • Migration project experience executing enterprise-scale identity or SSO migrations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication, authorization, and user provisioning issues
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with application owners, security teams, and stakeholders
  • Strong documentation skills to produce runbooks and support materials
  • English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
