AI Project Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized AI Project Manager to lead and coordinate artificial intelligence implementation projects from initiation through to delivery. This role is ideal for someone who understands both project management discipline and the practical realities of delivering AI-driven solutions in a business environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, business stakeholders, and leadership teams to ensure AI initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and machine learning projects
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Translate business objectives into structured AI project plans
- Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure AI solutions are implemented in line with business, technical, and compliance requirements
- Facilitate communication between business teams, data teams, and external vendors where applicable
- Support resource planning and task allocation across AI initiatives
- Track project KPIs and ensure successful delivery and adoption of AI solutions
- Drive stakeholder engagement, workshops, and project governance meetings
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and properly maintained
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering AI, data, digital, or technology projects
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, automation, or data-driven solutions
- Experience managing project lifecycles using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Ability to work with technical teams while also communicating effectively with business stakeholders
- Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and risk management skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or MS Project
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is advantageous
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to AI model deployment, data platforms, analytics, or automation projects
- Understanding of AI governance, ethics, and implementation risks
- Experience working with distributed remote teams
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI tools is beneficial
- Strong business analysis and change management capability
