Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team and help build and manage robust infrastructure, automate processes, and ensure the seamless delivery of software. This role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams, contributing to solution design and maintaining production systems.

Please note, this is a hybrid position expecting 2 office days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Help deploy and manage Linux server distributions, including configuring services, networking, and monitoring system performance
  • Implement automation solutions for deployment, backups, reporting, and log processing using Bash and/or Python scripting
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, and optionally Spinnaker for complex delivery flows
  • Design, build, and optimize Docker images and manage Kubernetes resources such as Deployments, Services, and Ingress
  • Utilize AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, and S3, and manage infrastructure using CloudFormation templates
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security in line with best practices
  • Support and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Linux server management, including configuring networking and resolving system performance issues
  • Skills in scripting languages such as Bash and Python, particularly for creating automation tasks and processing data
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins) and experience managing automated pipelines for deployment
  • Knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes, including essential networking and scaling practices
  • Strong background in AWS services like EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3, as well as CloudFormation
  • English proficiency of B1 or higher for effective communication with international teams

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Spinnaker for release orchestration in complex environments
  • Understanding of Helm for Kubernetes deployment and configuration management
