Overview

We are seeking a Senior Windows System Image Developer to join our team in building and configuring robust Windows 10 system images for Windows Kiosk systems, with a future transition to Windows 11. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work with both software development and system deployment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and configure Windows 10 system images for Kiosk systems, transitioning to Windows 11 in the future
  • Develop and maintain scripts and modules using PowerShell to ensure clean, maintainable, and effective code
  • Test system configurations using Pester for unit testing to ensure functionality and reliability
  • Apply hardening, customization, and configuration of Windows Enterprise and IoT operating systems
  • Utilize network technologies and services such as PXE, DHCP, and image processing over Ethernet
  • Collaborate on deploying and managing images using MDT and, optionally, ECM/SCCM
  • Test and verify kiosk system functionality and stability throughout the deployment cycle
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to system images and deployment

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ background in building Windows App Kiosks
  • 2-4 years’ experience building Windows system images with MDT
  • Expertise in PowerShell coding and scripting, with a focus on modules development and maintainable code
  • Understanding of Windows Enterprise and IoT operating systems, with knowledge of hardening, customization, and configuration
  • Familiarity with network technologies such as Ethernet and services like PXE and DHCP
  • Proficiency in unit testing using Pester
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

  • Certified PSD1
  • Skills in .NET/C# coding
  • Competency in ECM/SCCM deployment management
