Overview
We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Malta in a remote working mode.
In this role, you will contribute to designing and engineering a cloud-based (AWS) replacement for the current Core TO mainframe system. You will collaborate with UI/UX and development teams to manage requirements, define strategies for modernization and support initiatives related to re-write, new implementations and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to capture high-level requirements and business objectives
- Map high-level user flows (AS IS and TO BE) to identify gaps and opportunities
- Perform competitive analysis to inform design and strategic decisions
- Map the impact of new features on current systems and processes
- Facilitate working sessions and workshops to draft experiential requirements collaboratively
- Prepare feature strategy presentations that clearly communicate value and rationale
- Present experiential and functional requirements to business stakeholders, design teams, development teams and decision-makers
- Create comprehensive requirement documents that outline feature goals, address critical scenarios and identify open questions
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional business analysis experience
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation and elaboration skills, with ability to create business, user and system requirements in multiple formats (user stories, use cases)
- Experience using requirements management tools such as JIRA, Confluence or GitLab
- Ability to identify inconsistencies in requirements and maintain alignment across teams
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development processes
- Experience arranging and facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Understanding of visual modeling notations (UML, BPMN), wireframes and diagrams
- Ability to support solution testing and UAT
- Fluency in English and Italian
