We are recruiting a detail-oriented individual for an entry-level Project Estimator role in the construction industry. The Project Estimator will support the management of commercial structured cabling projects, ensuring accurate documentation, cost control, and timely delivery on mission-critical projects.
Requirements
- Assist in managing crews responsible for support systems including cabling, security systems, CCTV, AV, and fire alarm systems
- Review blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate project estimates
- Track budgets, generate material orders, and assist with invoicing and documentation
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage project timelines and deliverables
- Create baseline project schedules and manage change orders
- Travel to job sites (local and occasional out-of-state travel may be required)
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates on project progress and financials
- Support contract negotiations and subcontractor coordination
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
