Overview

We are searching for a Lead SSO Migration Engineer to oversee the comprehensive transition of enterprise Single Sign-On from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID. Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee the complete migration of SSO configurations, applications, and user access from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID
  • Design Entra ID SSO target-state models and define migration strategies for specific applications
  • Evaluate existing Okta integrations and translate their requirements into Entra ID implementations
  • Coordinate schedules with application owners, security teams, and stakeholders to ensure minimal operational disruption
  • Configure and test SAML and OpenID Connect integrations within Entra ID
  • Address issues related to authentication, authorization, and provisioning during and after migration efforts
  • Develop and update migration documentation, runbooks, and support resources
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams focused on Entra ID SSO operations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in identity and access management (IAM) within enterprise environments
  • Proficiency in working with Okta Workforce Identity and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integrations
  • Lead-level experience coordinating cross-team migrations and guiding technical decisions
  • Showcase of planning and executing SSO migration projects with minimal user and operational disruption
  • Knowledge of SAML and OpenID Connect protocols, including troubleshooting expertise
  • Competency in addressing authentication, authorization, and user provisioning problems
  • Strong communication skills to align diverse stakeholders and present technical updates effectively
  • Proficiency in developing runbooks, migration documentation, and support materials
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken (minimum B2+ level)

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, Okta Certified Professional)
