Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Middle Android Engineer to join our team driving the digital transformation of a high-impact mobile banking platform. This role involves developing native Android mobile applications, integrating with complex banking systems and external APIs and collaborating in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Please note that working from the EPAM office 2 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in all aspects of the software delivery cycle including design, build, test, deploy and support of applications
  • Deliver high-quality software and code while following best practices
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and team discussions
  • Write, test and review code to meet the project’s Definition of Done
  • Identify and resolve bugs, regressions and technical issues
  • Collaborate with teammates to design and implement user-centric and technical stories
  • Maintain alignment with architectural guidelines and recommendations from key stakeholders
  • Contribute innovative ideas for improving processes and solutions
  • Ensure compliance with established project processes and guidelines

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software development experience
  • Knowledge of Kotlin, Coroutines and Jetpack Compose
  • Competency in integrating REST APIs
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with an adaptive and collaborative mindset
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
