Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our team and help drive the automation and optimization of our on-premise network infrastructure. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating scalable, reliable systems that meet business needs while collaborating across teams to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Automate deployment, configuration, and management of on-prem network infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows for consistent network operations
  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to translate technical requirements into automation solutions
  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and thorough documentation of on-prem network automation processes
  • Leverage cloud knowledge (hybrid connectivity) where relevant to enhance automation strategies
  • Integrate multiple platforms using REST APIs and manage end-to-end data flow between systems
  • Architect and optimize Terraform and Ansible workflows to enhance team efficiency
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab Pipelines or GitHub Actions
  • Apply basic knowledge of Cisco networking to support infrastructure needs

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or a related field
  • Advanced understanding of automated platforms and complex network services
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash for scripting and automation
  • Background in software development with expertise in SDLC and complex script architecture
  • Experience in integrating multiple platforms via REST API and managing data interactions effectively
  • Skills in architecting and optimizing Terraform and Ansible workflows for repeatable, scalable automation
  • Qualifications in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab Pipelines or GitHub Actions
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco networking principles and tools
  • Critical thinking and strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and ability to work independently after requirements are clarified
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
