Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a strategic, high-visibility backend rewrite program. You will be the central orchestrator, bridging enterprise architecture, senior leadership, and agile development squads. Your mission is to ensure the successful delivery of a modern, cloud-native Java ecosystem that is reliable, resilient, and ready for the next decade. This role is pivotal in de-risking a legacy modernization effort while maintaining uninterrupted service for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and close projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
  • Acquire resources, coordinate team members, and manage project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and foster team collaboration
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
  • Track project performance and report to stakeholders
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Organize and lead project meetings
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Manage the Scrum team
  • Craft and deliver clear communications for diverse audiences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • Project management experience in IT or related fields
  • Proven track record of delivering projects successfully
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in agile project management methodologies
