Overview

We're looking for a Business Development Director – Azure/Data/AI to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will own business growth by driving Microsoft Azure–related opportunities across the region. You will focus on hunting for new clients, expanding our Microsoft ecosystem presence, and influencing stakeholders to deliver joint success. The position offers an opportunity to make a measurable impact on EPAM’s cloud strategy in the UAE, working closely with industry leaders to shape cloud adoption and digital transformation across public and private sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth within Microsoft Azure and related data & AI services
  • Hunt for opportunities in both new and existing accounts through proactive business development
  • Build, develop and leverage strong relationships within Microsoft and across their partner ecosystem to generate joint opportunities
  • Coordinate account strategies with EPAM and Microsoft sales teams, solution consultants and delivery leads to craft compelling propositions
  • Oversee the creation of proposals, RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and sales plans in collaboration with pre-sales, legal and delivery teams
  • Lead joint marketing initiatives with Microsoft and internal marketing teams to support demand generation
  • Act as the internal subject matter advisor on Microsoft Azure, ensuring EPAM’s teams access early release programs and product roadmaps
  • Advocate EPAM’s capabilities within the Microsoft network, increasing partner-based lead referrals
  • Organize and deliver product messaging, enablement sessions and high-level solution presentations to clients
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast management in alignment with internal reporting requirements

Requirements

  • 7–12 years of experience in IT sales with demonstrated success in new business development
  • Proven track record of hunting for net-new accounts and expanding business in existing accounts
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem and ability to navigate partnerships effectively
  • Established network within UAE public sector clients and deep familiarity with the local IT market
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent education
  • Expertise in solution selling and multi-stakeholder deal orchestration
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across distributed teams
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, including legal and commercial negotiations
