Overview

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Senior SAP Basis Administrator to take ownership of architecting, managing, and optimizing the technical infrastructure of SAP systems. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to ensure system stability, scalability, and high performance while driving strategic initiatives for improved operational efficiency. This role requires collaborating across teams to resolve complex technical issues and align SAP environments with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design, review, and implement complex system architecture solutions, ensuring robust performance analysis and providing strategic oversight to eliminate process inefficiencies
  • Ensure consistent delivery of services within SLAs and project milestones, while mentoring teams on adopting best practices and using advanced KPIs for continuous improvement
  • Provide technical leadership in collaborations with functional, ABAP, and infrastructure teams, driving solutions for high-level system administration challenges
  • Partner with SAP HANA application implementation teams to maintain sustainable support and optimize system performance
  • Plan and oversee advanced SAP maintenance tasks and BASIS administration processes for SAP HANA, ensuring compliance with current industry standards
  • Architect and implement upgrades, scaling strategies, and monitoring solutions for SAP HANA Databases across complex infrastructures, including scale-up and scale-out environments
  • Configure, manage, and enhance multi-tier HANA System Replication setups for enterprise-level high availability solutions
  • Identify and resolve HANA memory bottlenecks while ensuring optimal workload distribution across SAP landscapes
  • Strategize, validate, and improve disaster recovery and business continuity plans to align with enterprise requirements
  • Design and maintain advanced SAP SSO/SAML authentication architectures to strengthen security protocols
  • Support intricate SAP environments, including specialized systems like SAP Bank Analyzer and BW HANA, ensuring peak operational efficiency
  • Oversee CTS+ configurations for HANA transport, streamlining processes and improving system workflows
  • Optimize and maintain Solution Manager, enabling comprehensive monitoring of application servers, HDB systems, and OS layers at an advanced level

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in architecting and managing SAP systems, HANA databases, and complex integration interfaces
  • Expertise in conducting high-impact analyses on application requirements, such as security, integration, scalability, and performance, mapping results to sophisticated technical architectures
  • Proven experience in decision-making related to hardware, network designs, system software, and advanced security configurations
  • Extensive skills in automating processes within SAP environments, particularly on Cloud platforms including GCP, with a focus on High Availability Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in managing SAP systems on enterprise-grade High Availability platforms, including diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues
  • Comprehensive experience with advanced administration of Red Hat and SUSE Linux, including management of SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability clusters
  • Extensive expertise in configuring and maintaining Solution Manager CHARM, including managing systems integration via SLD and CUA
  • Senior-level experience in BOBJ administration, including customizing systems, synchronizing roles with BW4HANA, and overseeing BO CMC/BI tools
  • Deep knowledge in BW4HANA architecture and support, encompassing SDA integration, Business Objects alignment, and advanced security protocols
  • Proven ability to enforce and continually enhance robust security policies and access control mechanisms for enterprise setups
  • Advanced familiarity with Eclipse/HANA Studio and HANA Cockpit for landscape management, role creation, and content migrations across environments
  • Mastery of SAP interfaces, SAP-NetWeaver-based web services, and related SAP solutions for high-performance integrations
  • English proficiency at a B2 level, enabling effective communication in strategic and technical discussions
