Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead Software Engineer (MERN) to join our team.
This role involves designing software solutions for application features, collaborating with client stakeholders and leading the team through coding, testing and debugging phases. It provides an opportunity to lead a team and contribute to impactful software projects.
Responsibilities
- Design software solutions for application features
- Interact with client stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Communicate technical specifications and software strategies to diverse stakeholders
- Lead the team through coding, testing and debugging phases
- Develop and maintain software documentation and diagrams
- Perform code reviews and establish testing procedures to ensure software quality
- Monitor technology trends and apply them to enhance software solutions
- Exhibit strong team management and promote a collaborative work environment
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience as a Lead Software Engineer or similar role in software development and system integration
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Background in team management and project management
- Knowledge of databases like MongoDB and AWS DynamoDB
- Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, React, AWS, Serverless, AWS Lambda, SQS and SNS
- Skills in problem-solving and attention to detail
- Competency to work independently under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and English communication skills at B2+ level
