Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Engineer to lead and execute SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Please note that this role requires working from 5 am to 1 pm EST.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, with a focus on SharePoint Online
  • Lead migration activities, including site collections, document libraries, permissions, metadata, workflows, and customizations
  • Migrate associated workloads, including OneDrive and Microsoft Teams
  • Perform pre-migration assessments and post-migration validation
  • Develop detailed migration strategies, timelines, and documentation
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans for successful migration
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, project managers, and business teams to align migration efforts
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address migration tasks and resolve technical challenges
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance and support after migration completion

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
  • Expertise in O365 tenant-to-tenant migrations
  • Understanding of Azure AD / Entra ID, identity & access management, and SharePoint permission models
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive architecture
  • Proficiency in migration tools such as ShareGate, Quest, or BitTitan
  • PowerShell scripting capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
