Overview

We are seeking a skilled Middle Java Developer to join our team and contribute to building scalable cloud solutions.

You will work with modern microservices architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in the development lifecycle from design to deployment. Knowledge of cloud platforms is essential, and expertise in AI-related technologies will be a strong advantage.

Please note that for positions in Ukraine, we only consider candidates who are currently based in Ukraine or plan to return in the near future. Remote work is available only from Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable backend services and microservices using Java
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and support
  • Collaborate with teams including frontend, QA, and product stakeholders
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability of applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
  • Deploy and manage applications with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Conduct code reviews and improve development processes
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Java development
  • Knowledge of Java (Java 17 or higher)
  • Background in microservices architecture and REST API development
  • Skills in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
  • Competency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker is a plus
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of AI/ML tools, APIs, or integrations
  • Understanding of messaging systems like Kafka
  • Background in frontend technologies such as Angular or React
  • Proficiency in distributed systems and scalability patterns
  • Capability to work with automated testing frameworks
