Overview

We are seeking a talented SAP UI5 Developer to join our team at a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing and high-tech innovation. As an SAP UI5 Developer, you will design and develop cutting-edge web applications tailored for business-critical and operational workflows. This role requires deep expertise in SAP UI5 and Fiori, working alongside backend teams to create seamless, user-friendly interfaces that enhance productivity and decision-making across domains like supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering. Responsibilities

  • Develop user interfaces using SAP UI5 and Fiori, ensuring responsive and dynamic user experiences
  • Collaborate with backend developers (SAP HANA/BW) to integrate frontend applications with OData and RESTful APIs
  • Design and implement reusable UI components, adhering to SAP Fiori design principles
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver UI solutions aligned with business needs
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices for team knowledge-sharing

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing SAP UI5/Fiori applications
  • Knowledge of SAP UI5, SAP Fiori development framework
  • Solid JavaScript and TypeScript programming skills
  • Skills in HTML5 and CSS3
  • Background in OData services, JSON, and RESTful APIs for backend communication
  • Knowledge of SAP Web IDE or SAP Business Application Studio for development
  • Skills in Git for version control and Jira/Confluence for Agile collaboration
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and SAP Fiori design guidelines
  • Proven experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs
  • Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing SAP UI5 applications
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • B2 level of English or higher, with an emphasis on technical communication skills

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of SAP CAP (Core Data Services)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA environments
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
