Overview

We are seeking a Delivery Manager - Salesforce to lead and oversee Salesforce delivery initiatives, ensuring successful project execution, team management and client satisfaction. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce technologies, project management and agile methodologies, with a proven track record of managing large teams and complex engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Scrum or Scrum of Scrum frameworks within project teams
  • Plan Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Stand up, Sprint demo, review retrospectives and Definition of Done
  • Execute project delivery by ensuring teams meet commitments, removing impediments and providing necessary support
  • Report progress and metrics such as weekly reports, Agile metrics, burn down and business value
  • Escalate risks and issues in a timely manner for effective resolution
  • Oversee people management for teams of 20+ members and scale teams as needed
  • Handle account management including Gross Margin, P&L, T&M, Fixed bid, SOW and Revenue Target
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of product management

Requirements

  • 14 to 19 years of overall experience with a focus on Salesforce configuration
  • Knowledge of Apex (Classes & Triggers), best practices, Async Apex, governor limits, design patterns and security aspects within the last 2 years
  • Expertise in Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Health, Marketing, Experience) and Force.com implementations with Lightning Experience
  • Proficiency in integrations, related security aspects, consuming 3rd party APIs, exposing REST-based APIs from Salesforce and Salesforce OOTB standard API capabilities
  • Understanding of Salesforce user management and license management strategy
  • Familiarity with technical architecture, including components and their purposes
  • Understanding of engineering/coding best practices and tools used in projects
  • Understanding of CI/CD, including sandbox strategy, CI/CD approach and design
  • Understanding of test automation

Nice to have

  • Background in AppExchange managed package development, including First Generation or Second-Generation package development
