Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in the retail domain to bridge the gap between Store Operations and technology delivery teams.


In this role, you will define and manage business requirements, drive operational improvements, and enable the delivery of impactful technology solutions within a large retail distribution network.


Office location: Gerakas, Athens.

On-site presence: 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Store Operations teams and product/technology stakeholders
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, including requirement workshops, and collaborate to define problem statements and desired outcomes
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for store operations processes and technology platforms
  • Support technology initiatives for Store Backoffice, Electronic Shelf Labels, SAP for stores, and custom solutions
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and systems, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and service levels
  • Evaluate operational impacts of new features and support change management efforts
  • Develop test scenarios, validate outcomes during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate defect resolution efforts
  • Utilize Jira to manage requirements, user stories, defects, and backlog prioritization
  • Document business processes, functional requirements, and solution designs in Confluence for cross-team alignment
  • Ensure solutions meet business requirements and maintain transparency through clear communication of status, risks, and dependencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Competency in translating business requirements into Agile product artifacts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
