Overview

Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Developer with 4+ years of experience as Front-end developer and strong knowledge of Core JavaScript to join our team.

The customer is an online resource for automotive information. The company is headquartered in Santa Monica, California and maintains an office outside of Detroit, Michigan. The site includes prices for new and used vehicles, a database of national and regional incentives and rebates, dealer and inventory listings, vehicle test drive reviews, and tips and advice on all aspects of car purchases and ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the team of up to 5 people
  • Come up with effective solutions for business problems
  • Design and describe architecture when it's needed
  • Ensure that the team creates high-quality solution
  • Ensure that the team is following established processes
  • Perform code review of other team members
  • Communicate with customer and handle his requests in a timely manner
  • Provide estimates
  • Plan work for the team
  • Make sure the team meets deadlines

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as Front-end developer
  • 1+ years of experience in a leading position that involves direct communication with the customer
  • Strong knowledge of Core JavaScript
  • Deep experience with MVC Frameworks (ReactJS in particular)
  • Practical experience in HTML/CSS
  • Experience in JavaScript Unit Testing
  • Intense experience with web application development
  • Experience of creating lightweight architectural documents
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology
  • English at the level of Upper-Intermediate or better
