Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our dynamic Data Practice team and collaborate on EPAM’s strategic projects.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in driving forward EPAM's strategic data projects
  • Design, build, and manage enterprise data solutions on Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Develop components for the enterprise data platform to ensure data accuracy and availability
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data architects, and others to ensure data needs are met
  • Implement secure and auditable data processes to maintain data integrity
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and work to improve the quality of data systems

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role for at least 3 years
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or Java
  • Demonstrated experience with Public Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with expertise in DBMS and ETL/ELT tools
  • Experience in data acquisition through methods like API calls and FTP downloads, as well as expertise in ETL processes and data transformation/normalization from raw to structured schemas
  • Experience in building components for enterprise data platforms like Data Warehouses, Operational Data Stores, and Access layers with APIs and file extracts
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless project delivery and alignment
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
