Overview
We are hiring a Senior IAM Engineer to design, implement, and support Okta Identity and Access Management solutions across critical systems. You will strengthen authentication and authorization, integrate applications with Okta, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure identity capabilities—apply now.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and roll out secure Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Okta
- Configure and administer Okta integrations for on-premises and cloud-based applications
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Adaptive Authentication policies
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements in collaboration with the IT security team
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for IAM-related issues, serving as an escalation point for the help desk
- Perform system audits to validate the integrity and security of Okta configurations
- Create and maintain technical documentation on Okta configurations and related processes
- Support the migration or upgrade from Okta Classic to Okta Identity Engine (OIE) version
- Collaborate with teams to translate business needs into technical IAM solutions
- Contribute to creating and delivering training materials for end-users and IT staff
- Stay current with new Okta features and technologies, recommending system improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience of 3+ years with Okta or similar IAM platforms
- Okta certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator or Okta Certified Consultant
- Practical experience with directory services including Active Directory, Entra ID, and LDAP
- Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, and directory services
- Working knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance regulations like GDPR or HIPAA
- Familiarity with identity standards including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
- Scripting skills in languages like PowerShell for automation and integrations
- Experience with Okta Workflows and hands-on upgrading from Okta Classic to OIE
- Exposure to other security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, or SIEM tools
- Expertise in API usage and management
- Fluent communication skills in English at a B2+ level
