Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with expertise in Salesforce and Java to join our team.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful migration of a Loyalty Platform to Salesforce Loyalty Cloud, with a strong focus on test automation for API and UI testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement API test strategies and automated test scenarios using Groovy and Spock
  • Define and maintain automated regression testing suites to streamline the migration and system updates
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to identify testable requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Automate UI tests using Tosca, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the user interface
  • Manage and refine Postman test collections for manual suite testing if required
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and assist development teams in resolving issues within Agile sprints
  • Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline
  • Provide domain expertise in Salesforce testing and create test cases aligned with business requirements
  • Optimize existing automation frameworks to enhance performance and usability during ongoing development cycles
  • Maintain thorough documentation for test processes, strategies, and results to ensure clarity and continuity across teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in test automation, focusing on Salesforce and related technologies
  • Expertise in Groovy, Spock, and Selenium for effective test automation
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, including tools like Postman and frameworks such as REST Assured
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Docker, and Gradle for automation integration
  • Familiarity with middleware and database technologies like SOQL, SQL, and Oracle RDBMS
  • Competency in Agile Development, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills suitable for a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Allure Framework, MuleSoft, and Rally Software
  • Background in Salesforce Fundamentals, Tricentis Tosca, and qTest
  • Knowledge of Java 17, Gradle, and advanced test strategies
  • Understanding of SOQL, Oracle RDBMS, and REST Assured
  • Capability to perform code reviews and implement scalable solutions
