Overview

We are looking to bring aboard a Senior Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer who is passionate about data. In this position, you will engage with clients across a variety of sectors, including Finance, Telecom, Media, Insurance, Oil&Gas, Pharma, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced-level dashboards and reports
  • Liaise with the Product owner, collect requirements, and facilitate demo sessions
  • Engineer and implement data models, and conduct data preparation and profiling
  • Analyze complex business problems and technical environments in detail
  • Oversee security and manage the reporting environment
  • Contribute to architecture and testing processes to align with best practice standards

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with any of the following reporting tools – Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Looker, or others
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Proficiency in concepts of Data Analytics and Data Visualization
  • Capability to develop reports and dashboards
  • Background in relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Qualifications in SQL
  • Flexibility to use Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake)
  • Familiarity with concepts of landing, staging area, data cleansing, data profiling, data security, and data architecture (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
  • Expertise in testing of data products
  • Competency to work in an Agile development environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and best practices
  • English proficiency – Upper-Intermediate level or higher

  • Background in building ETL processes
