Overview

We are seeking a Senior Collibra Platform Engineer to support and enhance enterprise Data Governance capabilities within a managed service environment.

In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert for the Collibra platform, working across data governance domains such as metadata management, data lineage, and business glossaries. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable governance solutions, ensure data quality and compliance, and continuously improve platform capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, data-driven initiatives while shaping governance standards across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure and maintain Collibra platform capabilities including metadata ingestion, data dictionaries, taxonomies and data lineage
  • Customize Collibra workflows to support data governance processes and business requirements
  • Adapt and extend Collibra data models and integrations to align with reporting needs and industry standards
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate governance policies into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows and governance processes ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Support multiple concurrent projects, contribute to large-scale and complex data initiatives
  • Ensure high-quality delivery through test automation including unit and integration testing
  • Contribute to the design of scalable, resilient and maintainable data governance architectures
  • Work in Agile environments actively participate in ceremonies and iterative delivery

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the Collibra platform
  • At least one full Collibra implementation project
  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts including metadata management, data lineage and data quality
  • Experience configuring workflows and customizing data models within Collibra
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and development frameworks
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
  • Strong knowledge of system integration patterns and enterprise data ecosystems
  • Expertise in test automation including unit and integration testing at the code level
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across complex project environments
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
