Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Palantir Data Engineer to join our team in Nicosia. This role offers an opportunity to work on a complex and high-impact Data Transformation project for our insurance client. As part of this project, you will design and implement robust, scalable and data-driven solutions to support critical decision-making processes in the Property & Casualty business domain.

You will collaborate with a global team, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including Big Data and Machine Learning, to solve emerging challenges in the insurance industry. We offer a hybrid work model with a mix of remote and on-site work at EPAM’s Nicosia office.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and curate large and complex datasets within the Palantir Foundry platform, ensuring data quality, consistency and governance
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Palantir Workshop and Foundry analytical tools to provide real‑time business and operational insights
  • Translate business requirements into data models, queries and analytics, supporting KPI reporting and decision‑making use cases
  • Perform data analysis and exploration using Foundry tools, advanced querying and statistical techniques to uncover trends, patterns and insights
  • Create reusable workshop assets, dashboards and reports to support user enablement, adoption and knowledge transfer
  • Support report generation, troubleshooting and optimization of existing analytics and dashboards within the Palantir ecosystem
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define new data requirements and enhancements, integrating outputs with downstream reporting tools where required (e.g., Power BI)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of work experience in data and technology fields
  • Hands‑on experience with Palantir Foundry, particularly Palantir Workshop and analytical workflows
  • Strong experience in data analysis, data modeling and dashboard creation
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data transformation and analysis
  • Skills in PySpark or distributed data processing frameworks
  • Experience handling large datasets and organizing data effectively for analytics and visualization
  • Ability to explain data insights and platform concepts clearly to business and technical audiences
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Scrum and other Agile development approaches
  • Fluency in English
