Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Solutions Architect with deep technical expertise and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex solutions for e-commerce environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, enterprise integration, and leading e-commerce technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce architectures
  • Design end-to-end solutions leveraging industry-leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce (Hybris), BigCommerce and/or WooCommerce
  • Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on best practices in e-commerce architecture, microservices, headless commerce, API management, and omnichannel integration
  • Develop architectural blueprints, reference architectures, and technical documentation tailored to e-commerce solutions
  • Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise security, data privacy, and regulatory standards relevant to online commerce
  • Mentor and support development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with architectural vision and business goals
  • Evaluate emerging e-commerce technologies and recommend adoption strategies to drive innovation and competitive advantage

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a Solutions Architect or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce domain
  • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Strong hands-on experience with leading e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce (Hybris), BigCommerce or WooCommerce
  • Proficiency in designing solutions using microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, Dell Boomi) and API management for e-commerce
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce security best practices, PCI DSS compliance, identity and access management, and data protection
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with headless commerce, PWA and omnichannel retail or financial solutions
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, personalization engines or analytics tools for financial services
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA or PCI DSS and compliance requirements for financial institutions
