Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our dynamic team and oversee the development and maintenance of reliable test automation solutions for mobile platforms. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality applications by implementing robust testing strategies across UI and API layers, working closely with our development and QA teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the test automation strategy and approaches tailored to mobile platforms
  • Create, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for mobile applications
  • Develop automated tests to ensure coverage of both UI (web/mobile) and API integrations using reliable tools and methodologies
  • Ensure the scalability and resilience of test automation solutions to support high-volume transactional environments
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to understand project requirements and translate them into automated test cases
  • Debug and troubleshoot test scripts and systems, identifying root causes of failures
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing capabilities
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in mobile test automation
  • Monitor and analyze test results, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations for improvements
  • Lead automation efforts, acting as the primary point of contact for test automation needs at the project level

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with test automation for mobile and web applications
  • Proficiency in UI test automation tools, API testing frameworks, and an understanding of .NET-based automated testing
  • Background in designing and maintaining robust test automation solutions, including frameworks, with a focus on mobile and API integration
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
  • Knowledge of build tools like Maven, Gradle, or others and their integration in automation workflows
  • Experience working in Agile environments with iterative software development life cycles
  • Good working level of English (B2 level or higher) and strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with high-volume transactional websites is a major plus
  • Familiarity with latest automation concepts and tools for cutting-edge mobile test solutions
  • Capability to mentor junior QA or automation engineers in best practices for test automation
  • Understanding of Vue's microservices architecture or similar frameworks
