Responsibilities

  • Lead machine learning initiatives from ideation to proof of concept development and deployment
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify AI and machine learning opportunities
  • Develop and test hypotheses to guide data science projects
  • Build, test, and optimize predictive models and algorithms
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards for models
  • Deliver actionable insights to support strategic client decisions
  • Stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies
  • Implement monitoring systems to track model performance in production
  • Provide expertise on feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter tuning
  • Validate data integrity, model fairness, and reliability of outcomes
  • Promote ethical AI practices and develop frameworks for responsible AI use
  • Lead MLOps efforts to enable scalable and automated model deployment
  • Mentor team members on best practices and problem-solving
  • Share success stories and case studies to enhance team knowledge
  • Manage team resources and oversee project progress

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, R, and data science libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods
  • Experience with cloud AI platforms, including AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP AI Platform
  • Competency in model explainability techniques and bias mitigation
  • Skills in data visualization to aid model interpretability
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)

Nice to have

  • Expertise in advanced AI techniques such as natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
  • Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks like Dask or Ray for large-scale model training
  • Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow
  • Background in people management
