Senior SAP Consultant (Forecasting and Replenishment)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Consultant specializing in Forecasting and Replenishment to contribute to the transition and modernization of SAP solutions for a global retail project. This role combines deep domain expertise, ongoing innovation, and long-term support of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to gain deep insight into business processes, configurations, and custom code for SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
• Conduct hands-on validation exercises in lower environments to ensure knowledge retention and solution readiness
• Transition into ongoing support and continuous improvement post-project to innovate and align SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes with evolving business needs
• Update and maintain critical support documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
• Manage escalated incidents and resolve complex issues related to Forecasting and Replenishment processes
• Deliver shadowing and reverse shadowing activities to ensure a smooth knowledge transition
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements and optimizations
• Work to ensure a seamless, zero-downtime transition of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes, including sales forecasting, order forecasting, store ordering, and distribution center (DC) ordering

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SAP consulting, particularly in Forecasting and Replenishment processes
• Expertise in SAP Retail and SAP-SCM modules, with specialization in Forecasting and Replenishment
• Knowledge of SAP SCM-based systems, such as SAP F&R
• Background in SAP Retail, including purchasing and sales processes
• Proficiency in analyzing complex configurations, business logic, and custom code within SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
• Skills to resolve escalations and manage high-impact incidents using SAP methodologies
• Capability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and interpret technical documentation into actionable business insights
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP Retail Purchasing and SAP Retail Sales processes
• Understanding of SAP-IS Retail solutions
• Competency in driving innovation through complementary SAP solutions
