Overview

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team at EPAM, contributing to the digital transformation of a mobile banking platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on native mobile app development involving complex banking systems and external API integrations within a fast-paced SCRUM-based environment.

Please note that working from the EPAM office 2 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the design, build, test, deploy, and support phases of the software delivery cycle
  • Deliver high-quality software adhering to best practices and standards
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and team discussions
  • Write, test, and review code aligned with the Definition of Done
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, including bugs and regressions
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement technical and user stories
  • Maintain alignment with architectural guidance from Solution Architects or Team Leaders
  • Contribute ideas for enhancing innovation and process efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with project-specific processes and guidelines

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Coroutines, as well as Jetpack Compose
  • Familiarity with REST APIs
  • Capability to work effectively as part of a team with an adaptive personality
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
