Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer in .NET to lead the development of robust test automation frameworks and ensure the highest quality standards in our software delivery process.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in driving automated testing strategies and integrating quality gates into our pipeline as we transition from a monolithic architecture to microservices.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement test automation strategies for complex, multi-layered applications
  • Design and maintain automation frameworks for API, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Collaborate with the Lead Engineer, Backend and Frontend Engineers, and Business Analyst to embed automated testing into the development lifecycle
  • Ensure quality gates are applied during the transition to microservices architecture
  • Leverage agentic AI tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot to accelerate test generation and coverage analysis
  • Oversee RESTful API testing and contract testing processes
  • Enable seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps
  • Monitor and optimize test coverage to ensure application quality
  • Address unique challenges of testing in both monolithic and microservice architectures
  • Conduct quality reviews and ensure adherence to testing best practices

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks
  • Extensive expertise in C# and/or JavaScript-based tools such as Playwright, Selenium, xUnit, or NUnit
  • Strong understanding of API testing, including RESTful API and contract testing
  • Proficiency in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Azure DevOps
  • Background in testing both legacy monolithic systems and microservices
  • Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and deployment practices
  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled testing tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot
  • Strong grasp of agile methodologies and shared ownership of quality
  • English proficiency at a B2 level or above
