Overview

We are looking for a Senior SSO Migration Engineer to manage the migration of enterprise Single Sign-On services from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID while minimizing impact for clients and internal teams. You will collaborate with security and application teams to design, implement, and document a seamless migration. Join us to bring modern identity access solutions to life!

Responsibilities

  • Plan the end-to-end migration of SSO configurations, applications, and access from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID
  • Design tailored migration pathways for applications based on current Okta configurations and target Entra ID frameworks
  • Partner with application owners, security teams, and stakeholders to establish scope, schedules, and detailed cutover strategies
  • Configure SAML and OpenID Connect integrations in Entra ID while validating effective authentication flows
  • Execute testing and migration activities to ensure a smooth transition with limited disruptions
  • Address authentication, authorization, and provisioning challenges during and post-migration
  • Develop and maintain detailed migration documentation, including runbooks and operational support materials
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams for ongoing Entra ID SSO operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with IAM implementations and operations
  • Expertise in Okta Workforce Identity and Microsoft Entra ID within enterprise contexts
  • Competency in enterprise SSO migration planning and delivery with minimal interruptions
  • Proficiency in SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth protocols
  • Skills in diagnosing and resolving authentication, authorization, and access issues
  • Capability to create robust documentation, including runbooks, migration guides, and support materials
  • Strong communication skills for explaining changes, risks, and schedules to diverse stakeholders
  • English proficiency at a minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level for effective collaboration

Nice to have

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, Okta Certified Professional)
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud identity solutions
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements
