Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Program Manager to lead initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and scientific innovation. This role focuses on accelerating AI adoption in research, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful programs that empower scientific communities to achieve breakthroughs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partners and internal technical specialists to develop platforms and tools that operationalize AI in science
- Address foundational blockers to cloud-based AI use in scientific research, encompassing people, processes, and technology
- Support partner organizations in advancing commercial opportunities involving scientific data and applications
- Build and nurture an active ‘AI for Science’ community of practice, sharing innovations, education, and training across the ecosystem
- Organize and deliver “art of the possible” sessions such as webinars and in-person events to showcase AI’s potential in various research domains
- Synthesize insights from partner engagements to develop cross-functional strategies for addressing data challenges in research landscape
- Communicate effectively at tactical and strategic levels, including delivering impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience using machine learning in a research setting
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects with a results-oriented approach
- Strong expertise in interpersonal and networking skills; proven capability to establish and maintain robust relationships and networks
- Background in tactical and strategic communications, including crafting high-impact presentations
- Proficiency in Google Cloud data and analytics technology stack
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1+)
