Overview

We are looking for a Chief Project Administrator to drive AI adoption across scientific research by leading high-impact programs and partnerships. You will align partners and internal specialists, remove blockers to cloud-based AI, and grow an AI for Science community of practice through events, strategy, and communications. Responsibilities

  • Partner with external collaborators and internal technical specialists to create platforms and tools that operationalize AI in science
  • Identify and remove foundational barriers to cloud-based AI in scientific research across people, process, and technology
  • Enable partner organizations to progress commercial opportunities involving scientific data and applications
  • Build and sustain an active AI for Science community of practice, sharing innovation, education, and training across the ecosystem
  • Plan and deliver art of the possible sessions, including webinars and in-person events, to demonstrate AI potential across research domains
  • Translate partner engagement learnings into cross-functional strategies that tackle data challenges in research landscape
  • Communicate clearly at both tactical and strategic levels, including delivering impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in science or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on expertise with machine learning in a research setting, including 5+ years of applied experience
  • Demonstrated ability to scope, plan, and deliver programs with a results-driven mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills with a proven ability to build and sustain trusted relationships and networks
  • Solid background in tactical and strategic communications, including developing high-impact presentations
  • Hands-on proficiency with the Google Cloud data and analytics technology stack
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1+ / Advanced)

  • Postgraduate research experience in scientific disciplines
