Staff Software Engineer to join our mission-critical Enterprise team in Sydney. The team builds and scales the core platform capabilities that power Relevance AI's largest and most demanding customers. Drive deep technical leadership and execution across the Enterprise team, partnering closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade capabilities and back-end systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally back-end focussed and in fast-growing or enterprise-focused environments.
- Experience delivering enterprise features, such as SSO, permissions systems, audit logs, compliance or complex integrations.
- Evidence of operating at Staff scope - driving architecture, mentoring teams, and influencing across multiple squads or projects.
- Deep technical proficiency in modern web technologies, ideally TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Experience designing and operating APIs (REST or GraphQL) and highly distributed systems.
- Passion for building scalable and fault-tolerant systems for real-world users in enterprise environments.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into clear technical strategies.
- Customer-centric mindset, capable of owning end-to-end delivery and solving complex, impactful problems.
- Deep interest in AI and enthusiasm for building category-defining software.
