ABOUT YOU The Xsolla School Program Director is responsible for designing, scaling, and operating Xsolla’s internal school and early-career talent programs across multiple global sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Program Strategy & Ownership
  • Define and own the global strategy for Xsolla School programs across multiple locations.
  • Ensure consistency in quality, outcomes, and standards while allowing for local adaptation.
  • Build a scalable operating model that supports future expansion to new regions.
  •   Curriculum & Learning Design
  • Oversee the design and continuous improvement of technical curricula (software engineering, QA, DevOps, data, etc.).
  • Ensure programs reflect real Xsolla production systems, tooling, coding standards, and workflows.
  • Partner with Engineering leaders to align curriculum with current and future technology stacks.
  •   Multi-Site Operations
  • Run day-to-day operations of the school programs in Kuala Lumpur and Perm, including schedules, cohorts, and resources.
  • Establish clear governance, reporting, and performance metrics across sites.
  • Travel periodically between sites to ensure alignment, quality, and team engagement.
  • Liaise and work with local Universities
  •   Instructor & Mentor Management
  • Onboard, and manage instructors, mentors, and teaching assistants.
  • Create enablement frameworks for instructors coming from engineering backgrounds.
  • Ensure teaching quality through reviews, feedback loops, and continuous coaching.
  •   Talent Pipeline & Outcomes
  • Own measurable outcomes such as:
  • Graduation rates
  • Job-readiness benchmarks
  • Conversion to full-time Xsolla roles
  • Partner with HR and Engineering to integrate graduates into teams smoothly.
  • Continuously improve hiring success and retention of program graduates.
  •   Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Engineering Directors, HR, and site leadership.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, and results to executive stakeholders.
  • Represent Xsolla School internally and externally when required (universities, partners, events).
  •   Budget & Resource Management
  • Own program budgets, headcount planning, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure cost-efficiency while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Evaluate tools, platforms, and learning technologies.
  • Required Qualifications

  •  8+ years experience in one or more of the following:
  • Engineering education / bootcamps
  • Technical training programs
  • Early-career or graduate engineering programs
  • Engineering leadership with strong talent development ownership
  • Proven experience running multi-site or distributed programs.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering practices and modern development workflows.
  • Experience working closely with senior engineering leaders.
  • Excellent operational, organizational, and execution skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a product-based or platform company.
  • Background as a software engineer or engineering manager.
  • Experience scaling programs internationally.
  • Familiarity with mentoring junior engineers into production teams.
  • Experience working across Asia and Eastern Europe time zones.
