Overview

We're looking for a Business Development Senior Manager – AWS/Data/AI to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will be a key growth driver, responsible for securing AWS-related opportunities across the Nordic market. Your primary focus will be on hunting new business, expanding EPAM’s footprint in strategic industries and deepening collaboration with AWS. This position provides a chance to influence large-scale cloud transformation programs, helping Nordic enterprises adopt cutting-edge AWS solutions to achieve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development within AWS cloud, data and AI domains across the Nordic region
  • Hunt for opportunities in new accounts and grow existing relationships through proactive sales strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within AWS and its partner ecosystem to develop joint GTM initiatives
  • Collaborate with EPAM and AWS sales, marketing, and solution teams to design winning proposals and drive market positioning
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation in cooperation with legal and delivery teams
  • Execute joint marketing campaigns and participate in AWS events to boost EPAM’s visibility in the cloud space
  • Position EPAM as a thought leader in AWS solutions, evangelizing differentiated capabilities across the region
  • Provide internal expertise on AWS solutions, ensuring readiness for early adoption programs and emerging technologies
  • Maintain accurate, transparent pipeline reporting and forecast to achieve growth targets

Requirements

  • 7–12 years of experience in IT/business development with a proven track record of landing new cloud-focused engagements
  • Strong knowledge of AWS ecosystem, partner programs and cloud transformation trends
  • Established network within Nordic enterprises and AWS field teams
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or equivalent education
  • Expertise in solution-based selling and handling complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English (Nordic language a plus)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrix setup
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud economics and compliance in the Nordic region
