Job Role: Graphic Designer
Compensation range: 2,000 - 2,500 AUD Monthly
Engagement type:Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Who We Are: At Hunt St we help Australian companies directly hire top 5% remote talent in the Philippines. You will be hired directly by the client, typically as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: a collection of two supplement brands operating in the health and wellness space. Both brands are consumer-facing and sell across multiple channels, with a heavy emphasis on growing their online e-commerce presence.
Role Overview: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing visually compelling content that strengthens our brand identity across digital and print platforms. This role requires a strong eye for aesthetics, consistency, and storytelling aligned with a wellness-focused brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging, on-brand static visual content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) - note that video or motion content is not required for this role
- Design and maintain a library of reusable static templates that ensure visual consistency across all organic social channels
- Produce a high volume of static ad creatives for paid advertising campaigns, including single-image ads, carousel assets, and promotional graphics optimised for platform specifications
- Design visually compelling & optimized emails campaign graphics that drive engagement & conversion
- Design web graphics, banners, and UI elements in line with the Shopify store aesthetic
- Collaborate with the web team on landing pages, product imagery, and campaign visuals
- Develop product packaging concepts and label designs aligned with brand guidelines
- Prepare and hand off print-ready artwork with all required information and specifications
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to execute campaign creatives
- Produce print-ready materials (flyers, brochures, product inserts, etc.) and trade/retail advertising assets
- Edit and optimize images for e-commerce and promotional use
- Uphold and apply Modern Herbal's established brand guidelines consistently across all outputs (Both Brands Have Different Brand Guides)
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement and evolution of brand’s visual standards
- Stay updated with design trends in wellness, lifestyle industries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer (portfolio required)
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools
- Experience in using Figma
- Strong English both written and spoken.
- Experience in branding, social media design, and digital marketing assets
- Ability to translate brand messaging into visually appealing designs
- Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout composition
- Experience in a Supplement/Health & wellness, direct to consumer brand(s) (DTC) is a huge plus. Just experience in a direct to consumer brand is a big plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Creative mindset with a proactive approach to design solutions
- Clear communicator in a remote environment
- Must be comfortable working on video calls with client
- Familiarity with AI image generation tools and prompting — not a requirement, but a strong bonus for candidates who can confidently use AI image generation to produce high-quality, on-brand visual outputs
