Overview
We're looking for an End User Support Engineer to join our team in Zürich, in an on-site working mode. In this role, you will support our employees by ensuring smooth operation of workplace technologies and network infrastructure. Your contributions will help maintain high service quality and operational efficiency across our digital workplace environment, impacting productivity and overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Support colleagues with IT requests and incident resolution for hardware and software
- Provide IT training for new hires related to EPAM infrastructure
- Prepare documentation and reports to ensure IT process transparency
- Communicate with external vendors and global IT teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure communication room maintenance and monitor environmental conditions
- Install and configure computer network hardware and applications
- Guide employees or clients through system setup or troubleshooting steps in person or remotely
- Establish strong working relationships promoting best IT practices
Requirements
- Computer Science (BSc) or related university degree
- Proficiency in building and troubleshooting Linux, Apple and Windows OS
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server management (Active Directory, WSUS, 3rd party antivirus service)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple operating systems
- User-focused attitude with a willingness to assist employees with IT issues
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-level organization
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to emerging challenges

- Experience in corporate IT environments
- Familiarity with ITIL practices
