The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver reliable and resilient data platforms.
Requirements
- Evaluate and implement relational and non-relational database technologies
- Develop database strategies for scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability
- Lead migration initiatives from on-premises or legacy databases to AWS
- Design and architect cloud-native database solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with application architects and developers to ensure database designs align with application requirements
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to database administrators and engineers
- Evaluate emerging AWS database technologies and make recommendations for adoption
