Overview
Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle Automation Tester in Java to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a curious, open-minded, proactive, and collaborative QA analyst passionate about partnering with Business Unit Product Managers, clients, designers, and developers to produce quality software.
Responsibilities
- Be ready for active participation and communication in all stages of the development cycle - the tester should make his input during refining stories, planning iterations, and development stages - to help define the acceptance criteria, comment on usability, and evaluate the required effort
- Be ready to work hand in hand with developers
- Creating detailed and practical testing documentation
- Executing acceptance, regression, and ad-hoc testing as a Manual tester
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Manual Testing and Automated testing in Java
- Experience participating in projects from scratch (defining test strategies, approaches, and test plans)
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Experience with BDD; confident test design skills
- Strong experience with testing of web applications, familiarity with API testing.
- Experience testing data-heavy applications
- B2+ English level. Good written English is required for well-documented bugs/test cases
