We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Android applications with a focus on usability and performance
  • Collaborate with team members to define project requirements and deliverables
  • Implement robust UI components and ensure seamless user experiences
  • Optimize applications for speed, efficiency, and reliability
  • Integrate third-party libraries and services to enhance app functionality
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Work within Agile development processes to deliver high-quality software
  • Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Android development
  • Expertise in Java, Android app components, UI frameworks, developer tools, and workflows
  • Strong understanding of Android design patterns, coding conventions, Google’s Design Guidelines, and Google Play Developer Program Policies
  • Solid grasp of networking, local data caching, and multitasking on Android platforms
  • Experience integrating third-party libraries and external services
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software development
  • Leadership skills and ability to collaborate with both local and remote teams
  • Excellent English communication skills at B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Experience developing for other mobile platforms such as Swift for iOS
  • Skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for cross-platform or hybrid app development
