We're in search of a proficient Senior BI Analyst to enhance our team of professionals who steer data-driven digital transformation. If you're interested in tackling BI analysis, working with data, and utilizing best business analysis practices, then this role is for you.

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of elicitation activities, collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders. You will independently drive the creation of high-quality deliverables, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and reliability in all documentation and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, interactive charts, and reports following visualization best practices
  • Collaborate with the development team in end-to-end data migration and modernization projects, including ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Lead meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders to define and prioritize business needs
  • Translate requirements into actionable insights fostering seamless collaboration with the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform data discovery, data assessment, and data profiling using SQL queries
  • Prepare source-to-target mappings, data models, data flows and related requirements documentation
  • Define and organize backlogs with epics, features, and stories
  • Participate in and drive Agile ceremonies (Sprint Reviews, Daily Stand-Ups, Planning, Refinements, Retrospectives)
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing with customer stakeholders
  • Prepare high-quality post-development and post-production materials
  • Monitor and ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables working independently and in collaboration with the development team and customer stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data-related projects (e.g., data migration, data transformation, data governance, BI, AI, etc.)
  • 3+ years of expertise in handling BI, DWH, Data and Analytical project requirements (gathering, documenting, presenting, estimating, prioritizing, etc.)
  • Proficiency in end-to-end data and analytics project delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Proven experience in working with large datasets and performing data profiling using SQL queries
  • Strong understanding of DWH fundamentals, Data Modeling and Data Quality
  • Proficiency in preparing source-to-target mappings for data ingestion, curation, and related processes
  • Experience in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for data transformation, modeling, and visualization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the customer’s communication language
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation and reports
  • Self-motivated able to work with minimal supervision and lead client interactions
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience with data on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP
  • Ability to create prototypes and mock-ups
  • Familiarity with the Data Governance framework
  • Experience collaborating with data scientists and defining requirements for AI-focused features
  • Familiarity with AI tools for BI analysis, information elicitation, documentation, agile workflows and data analysis
  • Industry knowledge in oil and gas, finance, insurance, supply chain or marketing
  • Ability to act as a Data Product Owner in analytical projects
  • Ability to deliver innovative solutions to industry leaders, making a global impact
