Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Remediation Specialist to lead efforts in identifying, investigating, and resolving regulatory reporting gaps and deficiencies across various obligations.
This role involves driving remediation projects to address historical reporting failures, data quality issues, and regulatory breaches, ensuring sustainable fixes and timely regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve regulatory reporting gaps and deficiencies across MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, SEC, and CAD obligations
- Lead remediation projects to address historical reporting failures and data quality issues
- Drive root cause analysis for reporting breaks and coordinate with technology, operations, and compliance teams
- Manage backlog clearance and resubmission projects
- Coordinate with regulators on remediation plans and timelines
Requirements
- 7-9 years of experience in business analysis and regulatory reporting
- Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, and CFTC regulations
- Background in Agile methodologies and regulatory reporting
- Expertise in Asia and SEC regulatory environments
- Familiarity with CAD obligations
Nice to have
- Certification in regulatory compliance or related fields
- Understanding of non-financial regulatory reporting
- Capability to work cross-functionally with technology and operations teams
