Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives. This role encompasses defining technology standards, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with security and architectural best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure integration efforts across user experience, collaboration platforms, data center/cloud architecture, directory services, and Office 365 environments
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture to establish standards, patterns, principles, and best practices
- Define strategic direction for public cloud, directory services, collaboration services, networking, storage, server platforms, databases, and security technologies
- Drive the adoption of shared systems and tools to reduce expenses and enhance collaboration
- Ensure solutions complement existing capabilities and maintain alignment with IT and business strategies
- Serve as an escalation point to resolve complex infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Plan and execute technology lifecycle and refresh initiatives in alignment with overarching ecosystems
- Develop and maintain a forward-looking infrastructure technology vision
- Oversee compliance with policies, procedures, and licensing during deployment and upgrades
- Guide the implementation of best practices for scalable and secure infrastructure architecture
- Design solutions catered to high availability and disaster recovery needs
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 1 year as an infrastructure architect
- Knowledge of Windows Server, enterprise networking, or SQL Server and virtualization
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and Office 365 environments
- Communication skills with a focus on documenting and presenting technical solutions
- Understanding of enterprise application infrastructure and basic architecture principles
- Analytical abilities with interest in learning emerging technologies
- Team collaboration and willingness to support complex infrastructure projects
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
