Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to work as a Solution Architect in a cutting-edge technical environment involving modern frameworks, cloud technologies, microservices, and advanced infrastructure.

As part of our team, you will collaborate on designing, developing, and managing robust systems that drive innovation and scalability in a highly regulated, distributed environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile delivery and hands-on experience managing API lifecycles in production environments (e.g., Apigee). Preference will be given to those with a solid understanding of security constraints in distributed application development, particularly within financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other software solution providers and the client (a major bank) as part of the API Specification and Governance Council
  • Ensure APIs are versioned, governed, and managed effectively within the financial services industry
  • Guide decisions around open-source tool selection
  • Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders in fluent English

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java development, along with hands-on experience with the Spring Framework and Spring Cloud
  • Experience implementing and managing APIs using tools such as Apigee, KrakenD, or Traefik
  • Thorough knowledge of microservices architecture and experience in Node Gateway APIs & services
  • Strong understanding of Aerospike DB or equivalent for off-chain, high-performance storage solutions
  • Expertise in event-driven architectures using Kafka or NATS, or experience with service mesh solutions like Istio or Maesh
  • Hands-on experience with Keycloak (RedHat) or equivalent IAM platforms
  • Proficiency in managing sensitive keys and secrets using HashiCorp Vault or similar tools
  • Solid knowledge of monitoring and logging stacks, particularly the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
  • Experience in configuration management using Spring Cloud with Git for version control and dynamic configuration updates
  • Great communication skills and English proficiency
