Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Payments Solution Architect to lead the technical design of complex banking integrations and modern fintech implementations.

This role blends deep technical delivery with strategic pre-sales and consulting, serving as the technical bridge between banking requirements and cross-functional teams. As the guardian of Security & Compliance (PCI DSS), you will ensure all solutions are mission-critical, scalable, and secure by design.

Responsibilities

  • Integration & Solution Design: Architect complex connections within banking ecosystems (API orchestration, Core Banking), applying Enterprise Integration Patterns to ensure high performance and scalability
  • Pre-Sales & Consultancy: Process RFPs, create technical proposals, and lead customer workshops to present architectural vision
  • Architecture Audits: Conduct solution architecture reviews and audits of existing infrastructures, creating detailed remediation reports and design documents
  • Security Strategy: Define granular security architectures (HSM, Key Management) to ensure strict PCI DSS compliance across all workflows, including AI and Crypto layers
  • Innovation Implementation: Lead the technical adoption of GenAI/ML tools and Crypto/Digital Asset services into traditional banking rails
  • Technical Oversight: Guide development teams through customization and deployment, ensuring code quality and production readiness
  • Cross-Practice Collaboration: Partner with Mobile, Web, and Data practices to ensure seamless end-to-end implementation of payment products

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years in development (Java/.NET) and 5+ years in Solution Architecture designing relational/non-relational systems
  • Domain: Expert knowledge of PCI DSS, Card Schemes, and Banking Standards (ISO 8583/20022)
  • Architecture: Deep experience in API integration, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture
  • Quality Attributes: Strong understanding of designing high-performance, scalable, and mission-critical applications
  • Innovation: Practical understanding of implementing AI/ML and Crypto/Digital Asset solutions
  • Modern Delivery & Ops: Strong knowledge of DevOps and MLOps best practices to support continuous delivery of intelligent payment solutions
  • Infrastructure: Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and On-premise hybrid environments
  • Soft Skills: Proven leadership in architecture engagement, fluent English, and ability to communicate directly with C-level stakeholders
